Transportation to Lamont School of Music

Transportation to and from Denver International Airport, Union Station, and the Denver Bus Station is not provided by the 2008 International Horn Symposium. Individuals requiring such services are responsible for making their own arrangements. Listed below are several options for each location.

 
From Denver International Airport

SuperShuttle

The Super Shuttle runs between the Airport and any destinaton in the Denver area. Rates to central locations are $19 one-way, or $34 round-trip, per person. To get to the SuperShuttle desk after you land, take the train from the gate areas to the Main Terminal and proceed up the escalators to Level 5/Baggage claim. Claim your luggage, and then proceed directly to the SuperShuttle counter (open 7:00 a.m. – 11 p.m.) in the middle of the terminal under the Ground Transportation signs. After purchasing a ticket you will be directed to the appropriate shuttle loading area on Island 3 of the East or West side of the Terminal.

Claim your luggage, and then proceed directly to Island 5 of the East or West side of the Terminal.

Transportation from Union Station and Denver Bus Station to the Newman Center and Four Points is available using either the Regional Transportation District(RTD) Light Rail or Bus service, or by calling for a Taxi (detailed information listed above). Newman Center Parking

Parking is available in the Newman Center Parking Garage located directly behind the Newman Center. Rates are $6 per day or $30 for the week. Parking Passes will be available for purchase at the Symposium Registration Desk.

 

 

Transportation

 

RTD Light Rail

 

RTD mapTransportation between the conference hotel and the Newman Center is now possible using Denver's Light Rail System. From Four Points by Sheraton Denver South East, you can easily access the Light Rail Trains at the Southmoor station. Ride three stops north on the E, F, or H and exit at the University station.
