Plans for the week include:
- Featuring world class horn artists and lecturers from around the globe.
- Presenting a mass Horn Choir performance.
- Exposing participants to Horn pedagogy through warm-ups, breathing/relaxation techniques as well as special lectures and masterclasses.
- Pursuing a large representation of instrument, horn accessory, and
sheet music exhibitors. - Inviting and honoring artists that have had a major impact on horn
playing around the world. - Spotlighting university horn ensemble performances throughout the Symposium.
- Commemorating and celebrating the 40th year of International Horn Symposiums.
- Finishing the week with a picnic at a nearby city park, or perhaps a get-away into the mountains, catered with a "Colorado-style" barbeque dinner.
