Welcome to the official website of the 40th International Horn Symposium to be held in Denver, Colorado! This exciting event will be presented July 22nd-27th, 2008 at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver. From the world class featured artists and lecturers to the great exhibitors that will be present to the beauty of the Colorado mountains, we’re sure you’ll be entertained and inspired by the week!
Because of it’s many tourist opportunities, Colorado is a popular vacation destination. Located at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Denver is one of America's most beautiful cities, and noted for being the setting of many fun activities. With its central location, it is a lively city with a great love of the outdoors and is blessed with over 300 days of sunshine a year. Denver provides an ideal setting for The 40th Annual International Horn Symposium.
